    Helps to incorporate company values in learning and development materials. Provides expertise for all learning and development related matters, identifying and understanding opportunities for programmatic improvements based on current and forecasted needs.

     

    Performs various training functions such as facilitation of training courses, coordination of vendor delivered programs and maintenance of training inventory system. Assists in various training functions such as needs assessment, program creation, analysis of participants’ feedback and evaluation of program effectiveness.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Delivers classroom, webinar, eLearning and video-led training
    • Designs and creates engaging eLearning and non-digital curriculum
    • Updates regularly eLearning and non-digital curriculum to ensure content is fresh, relevant, and timely
    • Acts as a consultant for deployment of eLearning and classroom-led trainings
    • Applies Adult Learning Methodologies and principles to all course creation and delivery
    • Consults, assesses and recommends solutions to identify and close performance gaps
    • Creates and maintains standard operating procedures for course content development
    • Constructs curriculum and learning program structures within the Learning Management System (LMS)
    • Tracks and reports on training activities in support of compliance and audit requirements
    • Schedules instructor-led opportunities utilizing the LMS.
    • Performs all system and user administrator tasks
    • Provides help and support to additional system administrators and end users
    • Performs duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act
    • Assists in gathering participants' feedback and evaluates the effectiveness of training format and content.
    • Ensures that staff training occurs and individual training plans are completed and followed.
    • Administers and maintains a training inventory system.
    • Coordinates STAR and MERIT independent study courses by ensuring that course materials are properly distributed, tests are completed and sent for scoring. Distributes certificates for course completion.
    • Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
    • Assists in the preparation of the internal training calendar that identifies training activities, and upon approval, coordinates their completion.
    • Works with various departments to develop training on new products and promotions.
    • Assists in overseeing community, charitable and social events for the Credit Union.
    • Ensures full compliance with UNIFY Financial Federal Credit Union Service Standards.
    • Up to 25% travel may be required.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    High school degree or equivalent is required, with a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience as a Trainer or in a teaching environment required. Requires

    the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals and groups. Highly proficient in spreadsheet, graphic, presentation and word processing software applications and posses good analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

     

    Physical Standards With or Without Reasonable Accommodations:

     

    Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours daily). Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Able to use commonly-found office equipment.
