    Electronic Payment Services (EPS) Representative works to ensure that the Credit Union operates efficiently.  An EPS Representative supports the organization in many ways, but not limited to; ACH, payroll, and draft processing.  EPS ensures that Member’s direct deposits and payments post in a timely matter, handle any ACH discrepancies, and accurately process check clearing and return items.



    Qualifications, Experience, & Education:


    • Processes and maintains proof, posting, and balancing of all ACH Fedline files, SEG, and exception payroll.
    • Maintains and balances, ACH, Fedline and ATM Dispute/Provisional Credit general ledgers.
    • Process all incoming and outgoing FSCC and CO-OP adjustments within the established timeframes and receipt of proper documentation
    • Processes and posts return deposit items, including member notification, account adjustments and balance the related general ledgers.
    • Researches and processes exceptions associated with EPS and ACH receivables, including proper member notification, account adjustments and balancing related general ledgers. 
    • Posts manual payroll receivables, researches and processes payroll exceptions and balances related general ledgers. 
    • Maintains and processes all payroll additions, set up new Origination requests and make appropriate changes. 
    • Responds to member requests and ACH disputes, processing authorized adjustments within department guidelines and timelines. 
    • Completes all assigned paperwork and documentation daily.
    • Maintains records and sensitive documents in compliance with rules and regulations set by the appropriate regulatory agency and in accordance with Credit Union policy.
    • Interfaces with other departments to ensure that member needs are met in a timely manner.
    • Ensures full compliance with UNIFY Financial Credit Union Service Standards and the Bank Secrecy Act.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.



    Experience & Education:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent 
    • Minimum of two year experience in a financial institution in ACH/EPS department. 
    • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) &/or National Check Professional (NCP) preferred, but not required.
    • Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software applications.
    • Ability to learn new software and systems quickly and proficiently.
    • Working proficiency with modern office practices and procedures, including personal computer skills with core systems used to service financial accounts. Symitar system experience preferred


    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals and groups 
    • Ability to speak, hear, give and receive instructions and information to others in person and over the telephone or email in a manner that reflects professionalism. 
    • Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks by prioritizing job responsibilities.
    • Extensive knowledge in Episys Symitar & Synapsys
