    The Marketing Manager will manage and execute marketing projects, promotional efforts, and associated research activities to support growth of applicable organizational Metrics; while managing the Marketing team and department processes and procedures. 

    Responsibilities

    • Develops marketing plans with associated goals and objectives, to support the Credit Union's business development, lending, deposit, market development, online marketing, social media, advertising, and reputation management functions.
    • Manages day-to-day department work environment including department/individual meetings, team building, coaching, discipline, and associated performance evaluations. 
    • Ensures all marketing communication pieces meet established brand guidelines including appearance, quality and editorial content; ensures adherence to department proofing process and Compliance department review/required disclosure language.
    • Collaborates with other departments to execute projects, assess the impact of projects to the organization and membership, and request training support as needed. 
    • Leads a content marketing and storytelling strategy across standard and digital media channels.
    • Develops, implements, reviews and administers applicable policies and procedures for Marketing department.
    • Manages Marketing budget to meet scope of projects and projected spending. 
    • Leverages experience to research, conceptualize, create and implement marketing ideas in appropriate channels for membership growth. Use member data and third party market data to develop associated planning. 
    • Negotiates associated vendor contracts/agreements including partnerships/sponsorships to support planned and new efforts.
    • Works with the Business Development department to develop a variety of Credit Union events and activities, to help support market development and membership growth/engagement.
    • Ensures full compliance with UNIFY Financial Credit Union Service Standards and the Bank Secrecy Act.
    • Assists the Marketing Department and Management as needed.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    MBA degree preferred with emphasis in Marketing, with a minimum of five years related experience, preferably four of which have been in a financial institution. Requires a solid understanding of project management, marketing principles and activities, strategic positioning, corporate communications, public relations, project management, product development, and research with the ability to analyze data and trends. Exceptional interpersonal, written communications and verbal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of internal/external members are also required. Requires advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of database marketing and research. Must be very detail oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle the varied details of multiple projects, on time and within budget.
