    Performs various training functions such as instructional design, facilitation of training courses, and coordination of vendor delivered programs. Responsible for various training functions such as needs assessment, program creation, analysis of participants’ feedback and evaluation of program effectiveness. Specializing in and focused on training and development solutions related to consumer and real estate lending.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Conducts needs assessments and analyzes the training needs of both the lending teams and the member-contact teams as it pertains to consumer and real estate lending.
    • Designs/revises/develops training programs to meet the ongoing needs of the organization with a focus on lending. Incorporates blended learning methodology as appropriate.
    • Creates design documents, course content, lesson plans, audio/visual aids, test criteria, handouts, learning aids, and evaluation/measurement tools for all training programs.
    • Implements and conducts group training sessions in products, processes, and systems related to consumer and real estate lending.
    • Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs by analyzing learner feedback and ensures content in training programs meets the business needs of the organization. Also evaluates learner skills and on-the-job behaviors (pre and post training intervention), and makes recommendations.
    • Provides direct feedback to team members to aid in the refinement of existing skills and the development of new skills.
    • Serves as a liaison for Consumer and Real Estate Lending, and subject matter expert, as necessary for special projects, procedure development, etc.
    • Ensures training is in full compliance with UNIFY Financial Federal Credit Union policies, procedures, operating standards and service standards, as well as the Bank Secrecy Act.
    • Up to 25% travel may be required.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in instructional design or related field. Two years minimum related financial institution experience as a facilitator and/or instructional designer, or two years in a professional role with equivalent analysis, communication, and delivery skills required, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Preference given to performance improvement industry certifications such as Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) or Certified Performance & Learning Professional (CPLP). Advanced knowledge of consumer and real estate loan products, services, policies and procedures; previous lending operations experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be fully proficient with Microsoft Suite for reporting, documentation, and presentations. Must have demonstrated ability to support teamwork and a positive working environment in order to achieve goals. Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively assist other team members. Must be able to demonstrate sound judgment, integrity, and strong professional code of ethics.
