The Executive Assistant to the President/CEO:


Optimizes CEO's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence, collecting and analyzing information, and initiating telecommunications.


Ensures that the CEO is relieved of administrative burden to include, among other things, managing and handling the CEO's:

  1. Calendar appointments;
  2. Travel arrangements;
  3. Correspondence -- drafting, editing, and/or sending;
  4. Incoming/Outoing mail;
  5. Invoice processing; and
  6. Business credit card reconciliation

Develops solid and productive working relationships with internal leaders, members with escalated concerns, board of directors, vendors, and others to help facilitate a smooth and professional resolution to the expressed needs of the individual reaching out to the CEO.


Acts as the primary point-of-contact for those requesting to meet with the CEO.  Assesses the request, determine and prioritizes the importance, and timely escalates, as needed, to the CEO or other appropriate party.


Tracks and helps drive completion of key deliverables and follows up on outstanding items. 



  • 3+ years (give or take) of EA experience at the C-level.
  • Very approachable, outgoing, friendly personality
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Flexibility in schedule to ensure availability to meet unexpected deadlines or task requests
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of a busy executive
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Capability to work independently at times without much supervision
  • Flexible, versatile, and open-minded
  • Meticulous
  • Sound judgment and flexibility in balancing competing priorities
  • Ability to take on increased responsibilities as the position advances
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent as evidenced by related experience
