Responsibilities

  • Partners with the Branch Manager to lead a team of sales and service professionals to meet and exceed sales goals while delivering superior customer service
  • Mentors and coaches branch team members on professionalism, sales techniques, and service expectations
  • Develops and guides tellers and New Account team members on policies, procedures, products systems and transaction processing
  • Handles difficult situations with customers and provides them with a resolution, information or additional options
  • Builds financial relationships with customers by uncovering and satisfying needs through the referring of financial products and services
  • Leads the branch team to work as a team and encourages team members to perform at their full potential
  • Impacts customer service by spending time on the lobby floor, greeting customers, directing them to the appropriate area of the branch and ensuring customer needs are being met effectively
  • Protects the Credit Union by ensuring audit/compliance procedures of the branch are followed
  • Participates in special project as needed

Qualifications

  • Ability to travel between local branches and to out of state branches as needed
  • Three years related supervisory experience in a financial institution leadership encompassing sales and service process, executing tasks assigned, and consistently willing to assist others
  • Ability to coach and mentor branch staff to perform above job performance expectations
  • Experience with customer contact and ongoing customer relationships
  • Strong probing, communication, analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills to effectively uncover and resolve complex customer and employee issues
  • Ability to quickly and independently interpret and apply regulations, policies, and directives
  • Possess an enthusiastic and professional attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
