Responsibilities

The Position:

The Talent Acquisition Manager will report to the Vice President, Human Resources and oversee all company recruitment initiatives, programs and systems. We are a fast paced, entrepreneurial, customer-focused organization which will appreciate those candidates who enjoy having the latitude to make decisions, innovate and jump in and get the job done.

The ideal candidate knows how to balance their own personal recruitment workload with nurturing and developing a staff, and building meaningful talent acquisition programs. Full cycle recruiting and selection are skill sets they take pride in, furthermore, they build that capacity in those who report to them. They are systems savvy and find it second nature to tweak and optimize the existing ATS to drive better data-driven outcomes. Their overall business acumen enables them to add value in problem-solving at every level of the organization from front line supervisors to senior executives.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Leads a team of internal and external contract recruiters at remote Regional Offices to deliver top-notch, professional, and timely recruiting services.

 

Partners with hiring managers to define a recruitment strategy to find the best talent who aligns with the job, the team, and the company.

 

Innovates and drives successful recruiting strategies to be implemented by the recruiting team members.

 

Drives the full recruiting lifecycle from candidate generation through sourcing, interviewing, selection, and first day of employment.

 

Sources high quality candidates through the development and implementation of innovative recruiting programs and strategies that utilizes best practices in social media and other relevant means of acquiring top-tier talent.

 

Conducts behavioral-based interviews and utilizes competency-based assessments to help managers identify the best talent for the organization.

 

Develops and manages recruiting related programs/tasks (e.g. internship program, campus recruiting, social recruiting, applicant tracking system, interviewing skills, recruiting materials, etc.)

Qualifications

The Requirements: 

Minimum of five years corporate in-house recruiting experience working in a multi-site, multi-state company with 650+ employees with at least three years of recent managerial experience. Experience recruiting in a financial institution highly desired. 

 

Well-rounded senior level recruiting experience is required (i.e. experience recruiting executives, directors, managers, etc).

 

Demonstrated business acumen in understanding client needs and applying appropriate recommendations.

 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Strong organizational and negotiation skills.

 

Thrives in a results-oriented, fast-paced work environment.

 

Demonstrated networking and sourcing skills.

 

Proficient with technology and social media and recruiting.

 

Self-starter, team-oriented, goal-driven.
