Locations: Las Vegas, NV or Mesa, AZ


Analyzes credit reports, imaged documents and collection comments on delinquent accounts. 
Receives and makes telephone calls to members to discuss delinquent accounts and to make payment arrangements.
Initiates collection form letters to members.
Using the on-line Collection Software to document and summarize discussions regarding the member's account as part of delinquency resolution.
Discusses collection strategy with supervisor and recommends pay plans and/or extension requests, proposes repossession or legal action when appropriate.
Logs bankruptcy notices received from Bankruptcy Court, types and completes Proof of Claims, Reaffirmation Agreements and any necessary bankruptcy documents required and submits to Collection Management for signature.
Initiates skip trace action to obtain additional information on members. Contacts references and other lenders by telephone for additional information to determine the member's financial situation.
Assists in incoming skip trace calls from other lenders and develops contacts for future dealings.
Conducts face-to-face counseling with members regarding their delinquent accounts when required.
Reviews and researches vehicle impounds notices on a daily basis.  Contacts storage location and member to determine if the vehicle needs to be repossessed.


High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred


Minimum of two years-related experience preferably in a financial institution.


Basic knowledge of collection techniques, skip tracing and Small Claims actions


Knowledge and understanding of bankruptcy proceedings


Abiliity to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing


Computer proficiency
