  • The primary responsibilities will be supporting a Financial Consultant II to maintain profitable, professional client relationships with our current client base, while also developing new prospects 
  • Assists the Financial Consultant II with maintaining a profitable and compliant financial services office 
  • Assists the Financial Consultant II with opening accounts, satisfying client service requests, and maintaining books and records 
  • Identifies potential clients/customers using advertising campaigns, mailing lists, personal contacts, referrals, in-branch promotions, and seminars 
  • Interviews clients/customers to determine financial position, resources, assets available to invest, and financial goals 
  • Review and present client related financial plan recommendations or implementation processes 
  • Under the direction of an assigned Financial Consultant II, counsels clients on purchase or sale of securities, financial planning, investment, and insurance plans 
  • Maintains strict adherence to regulatory rules of conduct and the highest ethical standards 
  • Understands, and stays current of, broker dealer operations and record keeping requirements 
  • Completes all required licensing and continuing education requirements 
  • Analyzes status reports and perform calculations to monitor client accounts and verify transactions 
  • Provides and/or refers quality, value-added financial products and services to our membership 
  • Refers clients/members to appropriate Credit Union personnel for other Credit Union products and services such as credit cards, auto loans, Term Share Certificates, etc. 
  • Attends branch staff meetings 
  • Trains Credit Union staff on how to identify and refer prospects 
  • Maintains office hours consistent with branch hours and within regulatory guidelines 
  • Ensures that any minimum established production standards are met 
  • Ensures full compliance with UNIFY Financial Federal Credit Union Service Standards, the Bank Secrecy Act, and all applicable Regulations 
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with a current Series 7, 65, and 63 Securities Registration, and a current State Life and Health Insurance License
  • A current valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and “preferred” driving record are required
  • Requires effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in word processing software applications and spreadsheet software applications
